Dom helps Welsh to two shut outs
Young Shrewsbury Town defender Dominic Smith has helped Wales under-19s book their place in the elite round of the UEFA qualifiers.
Local lad Smith was on the bench for the first of three games the young Dragons played inside a week in Georgia when Wales lost 5-1 to the hosts in Tblisi.
But he was called up for the second game, a 0-0 draw against the Netherlands, which was Smith's first international start.
Smith deservedly kept his place for the final qualifier against Moldova and played his part in a stunning 6-0 win which means Wales progress to the next stage.
Smith, who has been on the bench as an unused sub for the first team this season, is a regular for Town's youth and reserve sides
