Thomas Telford are girls champs again

Thomas Telford School have won the Shrewsbury Town community Football League's under-13 Girls Cup for the fourth successive year.
 
They will now go forward to represent the club once again in the regional finals.
 
Five secondary schools from around Shropshire took part in a series of well contested six-a-side matches at the Shrewsbury Sports Village.  
 
Thomas Telford eventually beat the girls from Pontesbury's Mary Webb School 2-0 in the final.
 
They will now have home advantage in the regional finals in January which will be staged at the Power League pitches on the Greenhous Meadow site.  
 
Should Thomas Telford win, they will go forward to play on the hallowed turf of Wembley.  
 
Results: Mary Webb v Belvidere 1-0, Mary Webb v Thomas Telford 0-2, Madeley v Thomas Telford 0-3, Belvidere v Madeley 0-0, Mary Webb v Madeley 0-0. 
Charlton v Madeley 0-0, Belvidere v Charlton 0-0, Mary Webb v Charlton 0-0, Charlton v Thomas Telford 0-0, Belvidere v Thomas Telford 0-2.

Final: Mary Webb v Thomas Telford 0-2.
