Town supporter donates shirts to youngsters
Youngsters in the African country of Mozambique are proudly wearing the Shrewsbury Town colours thanks to the generosity of one of the club's supporters.
Sheila Downes, a former secretary of the Super Blues fund raising supporters group, has sent some Town shirts from yesteryear to a boys' home in Mozambique.
"My link there is through my oldest friend whose daughter works at the home," said Sheila. "I have recently moved to a much smaller house.
"It seemed a good idea to send the shirts somewhere they would be appreciated and my friend and her husband took them over there with them recently."
Sheila has been told the youngsters at Kedesh Mozambique, the name of the orhphanage, are delighted with their Shrewsbury Town shirts.
They wear their Town colours with pride as they play football which is something they love to do.
