Young keeper made debut against Hungary
Callum Burton has thrown himself back into training with Shrewsbury Town after the joy of winning his first England under-18 cap earlier this week.
Goalkeeper Burton was promoted from the standby list to play the closing stages of England's 4-0 win over Hungary at St George's Park on Monday.
It was a seventh England youth cap for the Shropshire lad from Newport following appearances at under-16 and under-17 level.
"It was great to get the five minutes I had," said Burton. "It's obviously a step up from under-17s so I was happy to get some game time.
"I went over on Monday morning, didn't expect to play, but got the last five minutes so I was happy with it."
Burton added: "It's back to work now and I've got to graft. It was great to be called up but I'll keep working and hopefully get another one."
