Reserves take on Walsall today
John Marsden will continue his return from injury by lining up for Shrewsbury Town reserves in this afternoon's Central League clash at home to Walsall (2pm).
It will be the striker's second reserve team run out since recovering from a broken bone in his foot sustained during the Capital One Cup tie against Bolton on August 6.
He will take his place in a youthful side featuring a number of the club's scholars against the Saddlers.
"It's going to be a very young side out against Walsall," said manager Graham Turner.
"Of the pros, there will be Alex McQuade, Joe Anyon, Connor Goldson and John Marsden, so it will be a young side and it's interesting to watch the young players and see how they're developing."
Admission to this afternoon's game is £3 adults and £1 concessions while season ticket holders, Sovereign Club members and Super Blues Club members will be admitted free.
