Fan's snapping up tickets for San Marino game
Tickets are selling well for England under-21s clash with San Marino at the Greenhous Meadow next month with more than 4,000 already snapped up.
As a club, we are delighted to have been chosen to host this prestigious UEFA European under-21 Championship qualifier.
The game will take place on Tuesday, November 19 with a 6pm kick off time and promises to be a terrific family occasion.
England under-21s, with Gareth Southgate now in charge, are in good form and beat Lithuania 5-0 in their last qualifier at Ipswich's Portman Road ground last week.
The team that night featured a host of exciting young talent from the Premier League, among them Manchester United winger Wilfried Zaha, West Ham midfielder Ravel Morrison, West Brom striker Saido Berahino and Arsenal full back Carl Jenkinson.
This is a great chance for local football fans to watch the finest young players in the country and it will be the first time Shrewsbury has staged an England under-21 international.
The club previously succesfully hosted England under-19 and under-20 fixtures plus three games for the senior England women's team.
Shrewsbury Town secretary Jayne Bebb said: "It is a tremendous honour for the club to have been chosen by the FA to stage an England under-21 international."
Tickets are available from the Greenhous Meadow priced £10 for adults and £5 concessions while family tickets which cover two adults and two children are priced £20.

For anyone wishing to take advantage of group bookings for 15 people or more (no age restrictions and bookable in advance only) the cost is £5 adults and £2.50 concessions.
To apply for these tickets, please complete a group booking form available from the club website and return it to the Ticket Office at Shrewsbury Town Football Club by Tuesday, November 12.
