Youngsters Guests At Carlisle Game

2 October 2013

Short Breaks Ability Counts will attend the Carlisle game

The youngsters who have attended the Short Breaks Ability Counts Sports Club run by Shrewsbury Town's Community Trust will be guests of the club at the next home game against Carlisle United.

The weekly club, run specifically for children aged between five and 14 with additional needs, has proved to be a big success.

"The community staff has been running multi sports sessions every week now since March 2013 and they will continue until at least next summer," said Lee Pugh, Shrewsbury Town community officer.

"The feedback from parents, brothers and sisters has been brilliant.

"A big thank you to all of our staff for their enthusiasm and, of course, to all of the children.

"We will be awarding all of the children a certificate at the Carlisle match for all their hard work."
