Tam and John Marsden back in training
Captain Tamika Mkandawire has returned to full training with the Shrewsbury Town squad ahead of Saturday's trip to Bradford City.
The experienced central defender has missed the last three matches after suffering a hamstring injury in the early stages of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy defeat against Oldham Athletic earlier this month.
There's also good news on striker John Marsden, sidelined since the Capital One Cup tie with Bolton Wanderers on August 6, with the Liverpudlian set to begin his comeback from injury for the reserves at home to Wigan Athletic next Tuesday afternoon.
"Tam's in full training now so we will see how the week pans out," said manager Graham Turner. "Whether he will be available for the squad on Saturday remains to be seen.
"We have a reserve game next week against Wigan and I would expect John Marsden to take part in that game and for Tam to be available for that one.
"We've got an open mind to see whether he's ready for Saturday."
