Sales pass the 9,000 mark for Saturday's game
Shrewsbury Town's attractive home game with Wolverhampton Wanderers this weekend continues to head towards a possible sell-out with ticket sales now nudging the 9,000 mark.
As expected, there is plenty of interest in Saturday's all-ticket match which kicks off at 1pm as Town face Wolves in the Football League for the first time since the 1984-85 season.
"Tickets continue to sell well so I would urge Shrewsbury supporters to get theirs as soon as possible or risk disappoitment," said Sean Evans, ticket office supervisor at the Greenhous Meadow.
Tickets, if any remain, are available from the Greenhous Meadow box office until 6pm on Friday.
No tickets will be sold on Saturday.
