Wolves match ticket update

5 September 2013

More than 7,000 tickets already sold

Shrewsbury Town supporters are urged to purchase their tickets for the next home game against Wolves as soon as possible.

More than 7,000 tickets have already been sold for the eagerly awaited local derby at the Greenhous Meadow on Saturday, September 21 (1pm).

Wolves fans have quickly snapped up all the available tickets for the Pro-Vision CCTV Stand.

"Sales, as expected, have been very encouraging," said Sean Evans, ticket office supervisor at the Greenhous Meadow.

"There's just over a couple of weeks to the game now and we would strongly recommend that Shrewsbury supporters buy their tickets as soon as they can to avoid disappointment.

"It's a very attractive game, the one most supporters first looked for when the fixtures were announced in the summer, and it promises to be a great occasion with Wolves paying their first Football League visit to Shrewsbury for many years."

There are ticketing restrictions in place for people who do not have a purchase history or a supporter number with Shrewsbury Town.

There will be security checks for any new ticket applicants with the Shrewsbury Town ticket office working closely with the Wolves box office.
