Trio receive awards from fans groups

Joe Jacobson, Connor Goldson and Ryan Woods share the awards

Joe Jacobson, Connor Goldson and Ryan Woods shared the awards at the annual end of season fans' presentation night held at the Greenhous Meadow last night.
 
Manager Mike Jackson and his coaching staff together with most of the first team squad attended the evening which is always a good chance for supporters to meet the players and have a chat. 

The player of the year for the Official Supporters Club was left back Jacobson, with Goldson selected as their young player of the year. 
 
It was the same order for the OSC's Away Travel Club with Jacobson and Goldson again walking off with the respective silverware.   
 
The Away Travel Club's player of the year award went to central defender Goldson, with the young player of the year trophy presented to the versatile Woods. 

The Super Blues player of the year was Goldson who received his trophy from Jill Lucas and Jackie Klekot.  
 
The Family Stand player of the year was Woods and he was also selected as the winner of the Wayne Hooper Memorial Award from Oswestry-based supporters which was presented by Sandra and Sophie Hooper, his wife and daughter.

The Super Blues clubman of the year for his work in the community was once again the popular Jacobson and he was presented with the trophy by David Ruscoe and Steve Fletcher. 

Rosie Sabin was selected as the Away Travel Club's supporter of the year while the Vi and Mervyn Cox Memorial Award was presented to John Bailey by their daughter Shirley Elliot.  

The OSC chairman's award went to Mike Empson.
