Upto five kids for £1 for the Blackpool game

CAPITAL ONE CUP RETURNS WITH MOST FAMILY-FRIENDLY START TO THE SEASON YET

FANS across the UK buzzing with summer football fever will get a family-feel when the Capital One Cup returns this season.

Capital One, the credit card provider and League Cup sponsor has teamed up with all 72 Football League clubs to launch a great offer, where adult fans can buy up to five children’s tickets for just £1 each at all Round 1 matches.

Kids inspired by the sensational summer of sport need look no further than their local Football League club for a fun family activity – without their parents breaking the bank.

Matt Williams, Town's CEO backed the Capital One campaign:"The Capital One is a great opportunity for Town to go on a good cup run and fans will remember a few seasons ago when we played and beat Derby and Swansea and then had a great game away to Arsenal.

"With it being the school holidays the offer for up to five kids for £1 is great value and a great opportunity for young fans to come to the Greenhous Meadow and see Town in action."

Jaidev Janardana, chief marketing officer at Capital One, said: “After a fantastic summer of sport we’re delighted to be back and kicking off the football season with our third Capital One Cup.

“We wanted to make Round 1 as family friendly as possible and we hope our  great offer will encourage parents across the UK to treat the whole family to a host of great games, and, no-doubt, goals galore.”

Shaun Harvey, Chief Executive at The Football League, added: “It’s great that Capital One and our clubs, are doing their utmost to attract young fans and help people enjoy Round 1 of the competition.

“Not only are they helping parents looking for inspiration for summer holiday activities, it’s also supporting the clubs draw in more fans and for many kids this could be their first ever football game.”
