Young keeper joins Conference side on emergency loan
18-year-old keeper Callum Burton has joined Boro on an emergency seven day loan ahead, of their Boxing Day clash at home to the AFC Telford. Nuneaton are one place and four points above Telford at the foot of the Conference Premier.
Nuneaton have seen first choice shot-stopper Christian Dibble recalled from his loan by his parent club Barnsley. Fellow keeper James Wren is out injured.
They have now swooped for Burton, a highly-rated England Under-18 international who signed a two-year deal with Salop in February. The 18-year-old has joined Boro on an emergency loan ahead, of their Boxing Day clash at home to the AFC Telford.
It should give Callum the chance to get some first team experience in an important Conference clash.
