Second years learn road safety and rules
Second-year scholars in Shrewsbury Town's youth team were at the Greenhous Meadow on Thursday afternoon for a driver awareness session with the British School of Motoring. The event was a mix of a presentation and a practical session for the young Shrews, organised by education and welfare officer Steve Parry.
Town's first-year scholars will be given the same session as their second-year colleagues next week.
Under-18s striker Kaiman Anderson, who has yet to start his driving lessons, said: "It was a really helpful session.
"I haven't started my driving lessons yet so it has helped to build up my confidence levels.
"I've been in the car with the second-years who have passed their test and they are all sensible drivers.
