STLFC looking to add players to their squad

Establishing themselves at the beginning of the 2013/14 season, Shrewsbury Town Ladies FC have ridden through some highs and lows to be sitting comfortably mid table in the Staffordshire County Women's League with several games to go. With a focus on developing one of the strongest ladies' football teams in the county, STLFC is now looking to expand on its current position and build towards a successful 2014/15 season. Having a strong core squad in place, the club is looking to add ambitious and talented players to contribute towards the future development and success of the team.

The club is interested to hear from any players who will be 16 years or older on 1st August 2014 and who feel they can add to what is becoming a very strong and united band of players. The club is looking to add in all positions with particular interest in strengthening the spine of the squad with goalkeepers, central defenders, central midfielders and strikers.

Players are now welcome to attend the remaining training sessions of the season in order to showcase their skills and trial for the forthcoming season. Training is held on Thursday nights from 8pm until 9pm on the 3G pitch at the Shrewsbury Sports Village in Sundorne. We advise that any trialists turn up early to sessions to introduce themselves to management. Further information can be found by contacting Manager Sean Evans at the football club on 01743 289 177 or email sean.evans@shrewsburytown.co.uk
