Your chance to take to the Greenhous Meadow pitch
Shrewsbury Town are offering local teams, businesses, or perhaps a group of friends, to play on the hallowed turf of the Greenhous Meadow in May.
Participants will have the chance to prepare for the game in the same dressing rooms that your Town heroes use every other Saturday before taking to the pitch in full Shrewsbury Town kit.
Matches will last 60 minutes with FA qualified match officials in charge while there will then be a chance to enjoy post-match refreshments in the bar and receive a souvenir team photo as a reminder of your special day.
“We are delighted to be holding 'Play on the Pitch' once again this summer," said Andrew Tretton, commerical sales executive at the Greenhous Meadow. "It's always extremely popular with everyone that takes part and they all enjoy their day whether they win, lose or draw”

The available dates and kick – off times are as follows -:
Friday May 9: 10am, 1pm, 4pm and 7pm kick-offs
Saturday May 10: 10am, 1pm, 4pm and 7pm kick-offs
Sunday May 11: 10am, 1pm, 4pm and 7pm kick-offs
* Change in the dressing rooms
* Use Shrewsbury Town home and away kit
* 30 minute each-way 11 a-side game with up to five substitutes
* FA qualified match officials
* Post match refreshments for players
* Souvenir team photo for each player
The price is £550 per squad ( maximum of 16 players).
