Shrewsbury Town support Sport Relief

25 February 2014

Bristol City game will be Sport Relief Fun Day

It's that time of year again when the nation puts on their sports gear to be more active in the community - and Shrewsbury Town, of course, are very much involved.

The club's Community Trust will be supporting the Sport Relief Mile at Shrewsbury Sports Village on Sunday March, 23.

The event will start at 10am with one race for all distances.

Event entries must be made before the day of the event as places are limited so we encourage everyone to book as soon as possible by visiting www.sportrelief.com

The Community Trust will also host a Sport Relief Fun Day on Saturday, March 8 when Town take on Bristol City at the Greenhous Meadow.

The event will start from 1pm and run up to kick off.

Activities will include five-a-side, penalty shoot outs, kick up competition, face painting and much more!

Entrance to the Fun Day is free while there will be ticket promotions for community partner schools and projects which the Community Trust are involved in.
