Fan’s Parliament

20 January 2014

Second open meeting on Thursday 23rd at the GM

Following on from a constructive meeting in December between Shrewsbury Town FC and fans regarding the formation of the fans parliament, ShrewsTRUST have organised a second open meeting for fans interested in getting involved, or fans who have questions they would like answering regards the project.

Mike Davis, Club Liaison for ShrewsTRUST along with Martin James, Head of Community Development and Supporter Liaison Officer from the football club, have been working hard to get the project off the ground and make sure it has the substance and ‘teeth’ that a group like this needs. ShrewsTRUST believe the fans need representation and more fans need to be involved in advising the football club on issues that affect our club and our experience. We understand fans have reservations regards the project, as do we, but this is a chance for the fans to have a representative, united voice.

There will be a Trust led meeting on Thursday 23rd January 2014 at 7.00 pm in the President’s Suite at the Greenhous Meadow and wish to invite any fans with an interest in the project to come forward and have your say. Martin will represent the club on the night. The meeting will be minuted and minutes will be distributed through all supporter and club networks.

This project will work and it is for the fans to get involved and make sure we have our say in our football club.

Please let us know if you wish to attend by emailing fans@shrewstrust.com
