Joseph Mills looking to help Town move back up the league
Anthony Reeves talks to new signing Joseph Mills
New signing Joseph Mills has joined the Shrews on loan until the end of the season from Championship Burnley.
I caught up with the new loanee on how about the deal came around.
Mills said: “ It was kind of a quick thing that happened in the window, especially at the end of it.
I spoke to the manager and he convinced me what the club was about and seeing what they are trying to do and I’m happy to join until the end of the season.”
Mills didn’t know much about the club but once he knew there was interest he instantly did some research.
Mills commented: 'I have played against Shrewsbury earlier in the season (for Oldham) but I didn’t know to much about the club, but when I knew there was interest I did my research and I am happy to be here with the training and new stadium I am looking forward to the atmosphere.
Asked about Shrewsbury, Mills added: ‘It’s a challenge and you look at the table its not good but look at the points and a few wins and you can shoot right up the table. There shouldn’t be any issues if we take one game as it is and look to take three points in every game.
This league is funny, a few wins and you can shoot up but few losses and you can be sucked down’
