Mike Jackson looking to get results back on track
Caretaker manager Mike Jackson wants to change the mindset of the Shrewsbury Town players and also adopt a more attacking style having been placed in temporary charge for the next three matches.
"We've got to change the mindset of the players," he said. "I think we've got in a bit of a rut and we've just go to try and flip a few things and change them, even little tiny details that might make a difference.
"There's ideas I want to do. I think we have to start being more attacking, start scoring goals.
"I think at the moment we're probably waiting to get beat.
"I think we've got to cause teams a bigger problem and make them think about us a little bit more.
"But we must have a discipline and defensively we've got to be right."
Mike knows the players well from having been first team coach for the last three and a half years.
He might not be a new voice in the dressing room but he has his own style.
He said: "I'm obviously not a new face but I have a new way of doing things and hopefully we can influence the lads in the next 48 hours before the game.
"We're going to give it a right go, I promise you that. We're not going to sit back but, obviously, we're going to have to defend at times away from home."
