STFC Away Supporters club holding open training session this Saturday
The STFC Away Supporters club are a football team who forge links with other football clubs through playing matches against supporters clubs up and down the country, prior to STFC matches.
They are holding an open training session for existing players and anyone who fancies joining this coming Saturday. The session will take place on the grass pitches at Sundorne Sports Village, with an 11:15am meet for an 11:30am start.
Manager Ant Thomas said “Whilst following STFC has always been a great experience, playing football in the morning and representing the club adds even more to the day. The STFC Away Supporters club has been going for over 30 years and gives footballers of all abilities the chance to wear the STFC badge with pride, whilst forging links with other clubs. There are no trials to get in – all you need to be is a Salop fan who fancies a game. Saturday will be a great chance for anyone interested in joining to come along, join in with our first training session of the season, and meet some of the existing players.”
