Manager runs rule over trialists

Micky looks at trialists during pre-season

Micky Mellon is running the rule over a number of trialists who are bidding to become part of Shrewsbury Town's new-look squad.
Several unattached players have joined in training as they attempt to convince the manager they have what it takes to bolster the Town squad.
Micky said: "They've all done really well but they're all good players anyway. It's now about trying to fit the little pieces into the jigsaw to make it a complete squad.
"The trialists are doing well and I'm enjoying working with them as well. It adds to the competition so we've got some good numbers, not too many, 19 or 20 players training.
"I'm really pleased with how it's going."
