Micky's call to the Town fans
Micky Mellon has asked Town fan's to back the clubs fight back as his new look Shrewsbury Town begins their pre-season training.

With the excitement surrounding the signings we have already made, there is an air of optimism around the club and a real desire to succeed next season. Ultimately, it is all about winning games, but I’m keen that you, the supporter, also enjoy your part in that.
I want us to pass the ball and pass it quickly. I want us to work hard to get the football back when we lose it but most of all I want us to play with a great spirit and ambition, with fire in our bellies.
I'm very excited about a new start here at Shrewsbury Town, and to build on what I've achieved before. I cannot wait to get to work with this new group of players and to start entertaining you, the supporters.
