Popular winger joins Peterborough on 3 year deal
Jon Taylor has this afternoon completed a move to League 1 Peterborough United after the clubs agreed a deal. Jon joins Posh on a three year contract for an undisclosed fee.
He originally joined the Shrewsbury Town youth team after being released from Wigan Athletic and then progressed through the youth ranks. JT was handed his debut by Paul Simpson in Town’s 1-0 win away to Chesterfield on January 2nd 2010 whilst still a youth player.
He signed pro shortly after that and has gone on to make nearly 150 league and cup appearances and became a firm fan’s favourite.
The club would like to go on record and thank Jon for all he’s done in his time at the club and wish him a successful new career with Peterborough.
