20 March 2014

RAF take on the Army at the Greenhous Meadow

Shrewsbury Town have developed close links with nearby RAF Shawbury in recent years and the club are looking forward to once again hosting the Royal Air Force's representative team next week.
The RAF, the current holders, will take on the Army in a match which will determine the winners of this year's Inter Services football tournament at the Greenhous Meadow next Wednesday, March 26.
The match will kick off at 7pm, admission is free and everyone is welcome to come along and watch what is always a well contested match.
Refreshments will be available and the matchball will be delivered on the pitch shortly before kick off by a Griffin helicopter subject to weather and operational flying requirements.
A collection will be made on the night for the Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund.
