Parent club don't want to extend loan so Miles returns home
Miles Storey's stay at STFC has come to an end after his month's loan expired and Swindon Town didn't want the loan to be extended. Mike Jackson had tried last week to get the loan extended but in the end Miles parent club wanted him to return to their squad one his month loan had finished.
Miles has done well during his time with Town and added another good attacking in recent games and the news is a blow to Mike Jackson as he looks to take Town out of the relegation places: “It’s a blow and that leaves us a bit light up front.
“We might have to move quickly to bring anyone in in time for Tuesday but I decided to play Miles ahead of Mendez-Laing who’s still only 80-90% recovered from his hamstring.”
Everyone at STFC would like to thank Miles for his work and effort during his time at the club and wish him well for the future.
