Players pop by the CST holiday courses
Shrewsbury Town Stars delighted local STFC youngsters during the February half term football course here at the Greenhous Meadow.
Jon Taylor, Joe Jacobson, Alex McQuade and Captain Tamika Mkandawire popped by to answer some of the youngster’s questions about life as footballer, and took part in some fun football drills delivered by STFC Community Coaches.
Aiden Wassell community development officer said ‘It was great for the guys to come over and interact with the kids and answer their questions, the kids especially loved doing the football drills with them. However I don’t think Chris Weale and Joe Anyon will be losing any sleep with the other guy’s goalkeeping skills’
Shrewsbury Town Community Trust have courses a number of courses running over the Easter break over a variety of locations such Shrewsbury Powerleague, Wem Cricket Club and a two day Girls only course at Hadley Learning Community in Telford.
