Shrewsbury Town ladies take on Bridgnorth this Saturday

Shrewsbury Town Ladies have the chance to grace the Greenhous Meadow when they take on Bridgnorth Spartans in an end of season friendly on Saturday.

The match will kick off is 6:30pm with admission FREE for all supporters via the Sovereign Suite.

The Town ladies have enjoyed an encouraging first season in the Staffordshire County Women's League and are set to finish in mid-table. Playing at the Meadow is a nice way for them to sign off the campaign.

"It's a game that everyone at the club is looking forward to," said manager Sean Evans. "To have the chance to play at the stadium will be a great experience for the girls.

"They deserve  it after all the effort they have put in over the season. Bridgnorth are a decent team so it will be a good game for the supporters to come and watch. It would be great to see some Town fans down at the Meadow cheering us on."

Sean added: "I've been pleased with how everything has gone this season. We are building something good at this football club and I feel success for this team is not too far away.

"We have a great group of players in the team  and I'm proud to be their manager. I want the players to enjoy this experience and to show everyone what good players they are."
