CST to launch new courses for girls and ladies football
The Shrewsbury Town Community Sports Trust have been running holiday coaching courses again, but this time we also held a two day girls only football course and had a great response.
Pictured are some of the girls from day one who travelled from all over the county to take part.
This course is shortly followed by the launch of our NEW STFC CT female development squads on Thursday 12th June.
All girls are welcome from school years 3-11. Female squad members will; train and play matches in STFC Community kit, be offered tickets to watch STFC, meet members of STFC ladies & men’s teams and much more.

Lee Pugh, the CST senior development office, is urging as many girls to come along and have a go:”This is a new start for female football with STFC and the Community Trust. We want as many girls to come along and just have a go. It doesn’t matter how often you have played before, all girls can join the squad.
If you already play for a team it won’t affect your club as all of the training and matches will take place in a friendly format, so it’s just another way to get more quality coaching, meet new friends and most importantly have some fun. We are really excited and can’t wait until kick off on June 12th.”
