Shrewsbury Town unveil new away kit

30 May 2014

Black and yellow stripes for away trips

This is the striking new away shirt modelled by Aaron Wildig and Ryan Woods which Shrewsbury Town will be wearing for the 2014-15 season.

The yellow and black Surridge shirt provides an alternative to the current blue and amber home shirt which will continue throughout next season.

The popular red and black striped kit, used by the team last season, will now be the club's third strip should the need arise.

We have worked closely with our kit partner Surridge as we were looking for something a little different for next season’s away kit.

After discussions and a number of options, the club opted to go for the yellow and black design.

The order for the kits was placed earlier this year and the new strip will go on sale at the club’s annual open day ahead of the start of the new season.

Richard Hill, Shrewsbury Town's commercial development manager, said: “The club are looking forward to the new season already. Not only will this be ushering in a new era for the team but it will also see the introduction of a new away kit.

“Last season's red and black shirt proved extremely popular and we hope that this new away kit is equally well received.”

The shorts worn will be black and the socks yellow.
