Another Wales call up for promising young defender
Shrewsbury Town defender Dom Smith has been named by Geraint Williams in the Wales under-19 squad for the Elite Round UEFA Group 7 qualifiers in Portugal.
Wales will play Belgium on May 28, hosts Portugal on May 30 and Greece on June 2.
Dom, who recently signed his first professional contract at the Greenhous Meadow, has been a regular starter for Wales under-19s in recent matches.
Only the group winners in Portugal will qualify for the finals.
This is the first time since 2011 that Welsh under-19s have reached the Elite Round of the competition.
