Loans To Be Extended

2 November 2014

Micky has agreed for Grant and Grimmer to stay longer

Bobby Grant and Jack Grimmer have both impressed the Town management and fans alike with their performances since arriving on loan.

Both players joined in mid October and their performances so far have meant that Micky Mellon has moved quickly to agree an extension to their stay at Town.

Micky has spoken to the Blackpool and Fulham managers and has agreement that they will hopefully be here until the New Year at least:”I’ve spoken to Lee Clarke and Kit Symons and they are happy to extend their loans.

“Hopefully it will be till their parent clubs want them back, it will be with an immediate recall but hopefully until the New Year.”

The Town manager was full of praise for Bobby and Jack and the lift they have given the squad since their arrival:”They’ve added quality to the group, they are good guys who have come in and become part of it.

“They add major energy and I think we needed that at the time, that little bit of lift of a new body in the building.

“Both can be satisfied with the part that they have played so far and what they have achieved.”

We will bring you full details of the loans once all the paperwork has been agreed and signed.
