Money to be raised for the homelessShrewsbury Town's NCS group will be sleeping rough in the concourse of the Greenhous Meadow tonight to raise awareness and money for the homeless.
The group, made up of 16-17-year-olds who want to make a difference in their local community, will begin their overnight stay at the stadium on 21 November.
They will battle with the cold winter conditions to both appreciate the conditions that many homeless people face at this time of year as well as raising money for their chosen causes.
The group will be raising money for both Shrewsbury Ark, which is a drop-in centre helping homeless and vulnerable people, and Brook House Shrewsbury, a drop-in service providing homeless young people, including those at risk of homelessness, with housing and support between the ages of 16 and 25 years old.
