Wednesday night leagues in CST partnership
Five-a-side Masters leagues are to be launched at the Lucozade Powerleague on Wednesday nights - in partnership with Shrewsbury Town Community Sports Trust.The leagues, for players of 35+ years of age, are set to start on Wednesday 5 November on the Powerleague pitches at the Greenhous Meadow.
Kick-off times for the fixtures will be 7pm, 7.40pm and 8.20pm, with games lasting for 35 minutes.
The cost per game will be £25 per squad (only £3.57 a player based on a squad of seven).
The leagues will be FA Affiliated with FA qualified referees, and there will be trophies in reward for the winners and runners-up.
HD video game footage will also be streamed into the onsite bar for post-match analysis.
