PDC champion to make appearance at the Greenhous Meadow

Venue 1886 will be hosting its first ever darts exhibition tournament when special guests Michael Van Gerwen and Mark Webster take to the oche on Friday 27th February 2015.

Michael Van Gerwen is the current PDC World Champion and world number one and Welshman Mark Webster is always a regular in the finals of the PDC competitions.

It is a great chance for darts fans to get up close to the pair as they show off their skills in the Sovereign Lounge of the Greenhous Meadow.

Michael Van Gerwen and Mark Webster will play a number of exhibition matches and there will also be several games where some lucky fans will get the chance to test their own skills with the arrows against the pair, we might even get Shrewsbury Town manager Micky Mellon up to the oche to see what his throwing skills are like.

There is a VIP Meet and Great package for table of 10 (£500 + VAT) while the standard table of 10 will cost you just £350 + VAT.

There will be a raffle and auction on the night and food will the Venue 1886 kitchen will have a number of menu options on the night.

Venue 1886 hospitality manager Stuart Brown said:”We are a popular venue for many different functions and parties but we always look to try and host events that will appeal to a wider audience.

“Darts nights such as these are always very popular and it is great to have the world champion come to the Greenhous Meadow.

“I am sure it will be a superb evening and hopefully the first of many such successful nights here.”
