Darwin Centre shop proving popular with fans
The new club shop in Shrewsbury town centre is proving to be a hit with Town fans and shoppers alike.Located on the middle level of the Darwin Shopping Centre the shop opened at the start of the month and has seen good numbers through the door ever since.
There are a number of items to exclusive to the shop as well as a sale rail with lots of bargin’s to be had if you time your visit just right.
With half-term approaching the club will be hosting a number of special events at the shop.
Clubshop manager Siobhan Hayes is on duty in the Darwin Centre most days and is pleased with how things are going:”We have had a lot of people come to the shop to have a look and plan what they might be buying for Christmas. You tend to get that a lot in October when people are having a look and we’ve got lots of stock that would make ideal presents.
“There are a few special items that we have only in the shop and there is a certain t-shirts that a lot of older fans have been snapping up.
“We are open Monday to Saturday but the times will change as we get closer to Christmas and when we have a midweek game on.
“Pop in and say hello when you are in town as it’s always nice to see some familiar faces during the day.”
The shop is open Monday to Saturday between 10am and 4pm, but times are subject to change.
