Rhys staying with Town for the rest of the campaignTown have completed the paperwork to keep Rhys Sharpe on loan at the club until the end of the season.
Talks between the club and Derby County have been ongoing and everything has now been agreed and confirmed with the Football League.
Rhys has made three appearances so far since joining in March and maybe would have made more had it not been for the red card picked up in the home win over Oxford United. This kept him out of action for three games and his only appearance since was as substitute in the win at Mansfield Town.
Town manager Micky Mellon is pleased that everything has now been agreed and Rhys will be remaining at the Greenhous Meadow:”It’s important that we keep a strong squad for these final important games of the season
“Rhys is a part of that squad and its good news that we have been able to extend his loan.
“He’s been a good addition both on and off the pitch and I look forward to continuing to work with him.”
