Youngster finally gets his move away from TownJosh Ginnelly has joined Championship side Burnley after turning down the offer of a pro contract with Town.
It’s taken Josh time to decide where his future lay after rejection Town’s offers and after being on trial at Burnley for the last couple of weeks the deal has gone through on a three year contract at Turf Moor.
The two clubs have agreed an undisclosed fee for the move and Josh will now start the next stage of his career at Burnley.
Town manager Micky Mellon is pleased that the deal had finally gone through and wished Josh well for the future:”I’m glad that it has finally been resolved as it’s been a long and drawn out process.
“The two clubs have come to an agreement and I wish Josh well at his new club.
“I hope he goes on to be a huge success at Burnley and shows the potential that he has.”
