Town travelled to Tranmere looking to continue their recent good away form and in the early exchanges the visitors were on top.Then two Tranmere goals from soft Town defending made it a tough task for the visitors.
The second half saw Mickey Demetriou stretchered off and Connor Goldson nick a goal back but in the end it was a rare Town defeat.
