Liverpool youngster joins to add options to Town squadTown have taken Liverpool youngster Connor Randall on a month’s loan.
The 19 year old was born in Merseyside and has progressed through the youth ranks since joining the Premier League club as an eight year old.
Connor has been involved with the first team as well as being a regular with England at youth level and has featured for the England U21s during the 2014/15 season.
Connor goes straight into the Town squad for this afternoon’s game at home to Hartlepool United and will wear the squad number 27.
Connor has been training with Town this week and has impressed Town manager Micky Mellon who is pleased to have him on board:”Connor is a player who is very highly thought of at Liverpool and a player who has impressed us when we have played them in recent friendly games and before that when we have seen him play.
“It is great to have him as part of our squad as we go into critical part of the season where we will need many good players available.
“We are delighted that a club like Liverpool believe we can help develop their young players and it is great to have a connection with another good club.”
