Ex Town Winger Has Sadly Passed
The club is saddened to hear about the passing of former player player Brian Taylor, aged 78 years.
Brian played for the club between 1963 and 1967 playing over 70 times and scoring 8 times. He was a tricky winger who fans will remember fondly flying down the wings at the Gay Meadow.
He played for a number of clubs during his career including Port Vale, Barnsley, Walsall and Birmingham City.
He died last week suddenly while away on holiday in Menorca.
His funeral will take place on Friday 3rd July with his after funeral being held at the Greenhous Meadow.
The thoughts of the club are with Brian's family and friends at this sad time.
