Defender Moves On After Agreement With Club

Shrewsbury Town can confirm that defender Cameron Gayle has left the Club after it was mutually agreed that his contract would be cancelled.

The 22-year-old moved to the Greenhous Meadow last summer after leaving West Bromwich Albion.

Gayle started the season in the side but the switch to a 3-5-2 formation and the loans of Jack Grimmer and Josh Passley saw him drop out of the side.  He returned to the first team in January and played most of the games for the remainder of the season.

Shrewsbury Town would like to thank Cameron for for his efforts while at the Club and wish him all the best in the future.
