FA Cup game to be shown live on BT Sport
The date and kick-off for the Emirates FA Cup trip to Grimsby Town has now been confirmed .
The game will be shown live by BT Sport and this means it will now be played on Monday 7th December 7:45pm kick-off
It is a game that Micky Mellon admits he is excited about. Shrewsbury’s second successive Cup trip to Lincolnshire will be the ninth time in their last 10 FA Cup games the club have been drawn away.
“We’re delighted to still be in the FA Cup but it’s always going to be difficult whether we were drawn at home or away,” said the boss.
“To be fighting for the right to be in the special round when all the big clubs from the Premier League come in is a really exciting opportunity.
“It’s a tough stage to be at because so many clubs want to fight for that glamour tie, but we’re lucky enough to be in with a shout of it.”
