Kaikai Wins PFA Fans' Player Of The Month Award For October

3 November 2015

Attacker Voted As League One's Player Of The Month

One lucky fan will get to meet and present the award to Kaikai.

"I'm honoured and I'm so excited to have won such an award," said Kaikai.

"I'd like to thank everyone who voted for me, especially the ones who kept on retweeting it to help me win the award.

"I'm just grateful with this wonderful achievement.

"To be recognised for my goals and my performances that month is a good thing.

"Without the fans I wouldn't have won the award.

"I've enjoyed my time here and I'm bonding with the team quite well.

"They're helping me to perform better as well which is a good thing.

"I'm delighted to have gone on a scoring run.

"I was disappointed to come off injured (against Bury) and to have missed the game at the weekend and not been able to help my team mates.

"I'll be back within a week or so, so I'll be looking forward to helping the team again."

And thanks to your votes, Kaikai beat off competition from Southend United's Joe Piggot and Gillingham's Rory Donnelly to win the monthly award.

The 20-year-old Crystal Palace man scored four goals in four games for Town during October.

Shrewsbury Town's on-loan forward Sullay Kaikai has been voted as the PFA Fans' Sky Bet League 1 Player of the Month for October.
