New Year Bank Holiday Fixtures – 2nd January 2017
New Year’s Eve fixtures – 31st December 2016
Boxing Day fixtures – 26th December 2016
Season start: The weekend of 6th August 2016
2016/17 Key Dates
As usual there will also be a full festive programme of League fixtures, with match dates scheduled for Boxing Day, New Year’s Eve 2016 and the Bank Holiday Monday on 2nd January.
Season 2016/17 will commence over the weekend of Saturday 6th August 2016, while all three divisions will run through to 6th and 7th May 2017.
While the current season has a long way to go, The Football League can confirm the start and end dates for next season.
