Chance To Meet Shrewsbury Town Stars

27 October 2015

Micky, Brown And Smith To Visit The West Brom

"We can’t wait to welcome Micky, Dominic and Junior to the branch and it’s a great opportunity for fans to come down and meet three big figures from the club.

"Securing promotion last season means Shrewsbury are involved in some exciting fixtures in Sky Bet League 1 in 2015-16.

"As a building society which always enjoys building strong community links, we are delighted to be showing our support for the club with this donation."
Branch manager Megan Edwards said:

The money comes from the annual proceeds of the Amber Blue Saver affinity account, the exclusive savings account which is only available to supporters of the Greenhous Meadow club.

During the visit, Micky and the players will receive a special payment of £5,270 on behalf of the club donated by the West Brom.

Fans will have the chance to meet and have their pictures taken with the trio, as well as collect autographs in a special half-term visit.

Boss Micky Mellon, Dominic Smith and Junior Brown will be present at the West Brom on High Street in Shrewsbury between 1.30pm and 2.30pm on Thursday.

Shrewsbury Town fans will have the chance to get up and close and personal with the manager and two star players at a local branch of a leading regional building society.
