Girls Football Week Saw STFC ITC Engage With 280 Girls

Community Department Plays Its Part In The County

"I would like to thank Tash for coming down to HLC to present the signed shirt for the schools selfie competition.

"She spoke to and met some of the U13 girls football team. The school have a strong link with the Shrewsbury Town in the Community through the FFD programme and have been receiving coaching from Stacey."

Shrewsbury Town Ladies captain Broome also launched a selfie competition at FFD school Hadley Learning Community where the girls who enter will have chance to win a signed Shrewsbury Town Ladies shirt.

Ladies player Nat Turner ran girls football sessions at Oakmeadow Primary School and Tania Prior and Tash Broome attended Highly Primary School.

Last week alone saw Shrewsbury Town in the Community engage with 280 girls, from FFD schools, advanced girls development centre sessions and special visits from Shrewsbury Town Ladies FC players in local schools.

Shrewsbury Town in the Community played its part across the county for the national Girls' Football week last week.
