Under-18s Coach Confident Ahead Of Cup Clash
Tickets are pay on the gate only on Tuesday night, priced at £3 for Adults and £1.50 for Concessions and U16s."It's a good chance to see our young lads at Greenhous Meadow and hopefully see them perform and get a good result against Telford," said Dawes.
"We're really looking forward to the game, it's always good to go to Greenhous Meadow and it would be nice to go on a youth cup run this year.
"I think we're more than capable of doing it and it's now down to the lads on the night.
"It will be an interesting game with a bit of spice in, but I believe that if we perform to our capabilities then we should win the game.
"There's a big rivalry between the two clubs and there will be players for Telford who used to play at Shrewsbury.
"Unfortunately they didn't get taken by us and Telford have taken them so they'll be trying to prove a point to us."
And Town's head of academy coaching believes there will be added spice given the rivalry between Shrewsbury and Telford.
Dawes' side have been flying high in the Football League Youth Alliance - North West league this season and suffered only their first defeat in eight at the hands of Blackpool at the weekend.
The young Shrews host the Bucks at Greenhous Meadow (7pm kick-off) as they look to reach the Second Round Proper.
Ian Dawes is backing Shrewsbury Town to beat AFC Telford United in the FA Youth Cup First Round Proper on Tuesday night - if his side performs to their capabilities.
