Children To Represent Club At Next Stage Of Competition
Last year, over 2000 schools entered the two competitions nationwide with the finalists getting a chance of playing at Wembley Stadium.
All of the participants and spectators at both competitions seemed to really enjoy the experience.
The next stage of the competitin for the Girls Cup is to be held at Shrewsbury Town Football Club in the week commencing 11 January 2016.
The competition also concluded on 30 September with Thomas Telford Academy as the eventual winners.
There were a total of eight participating teams.
Alongside the Football League Kids Cup, there was also the Football League Girls Cup being held.
Callum Kennedy, their PE teacher, was as excited as the children at representing Shrewsbury Town Football Club at the next stage of the competition, which is to be held at Crewe Alexandra Football Club in the week commencing 7 March 2016.
In our local Football League Kids Cup competition at Shrewsbury, we had 28 participating teams, which concluded on 30 September with St George's Junior School as the winning team.
