A range of prizes, some auctioned, were also on offer on the night including signed van Gerwen shirts, signed Phil Taylor shirts (one framed), one framed van Gerwen shirt and a framed Raymond van Barneveld shirt.
Rupert Bear also beat van Gerwen by finishing on the double 14 while Stevie Footte beat Hamilton by finishing on the double 16.
Each player faced eight different people from the audience, and Shrewsbury Town's very own head chef Ryan Leonard beat van Gerwen in a game of 501 by finishing on the double six!
The pair greeted fans with VIP tickets in the Arthur Rowley lounge ahead of the event and then entered the Sovereign Suite, first to take on challengers from the audience.
Darts fans packed out the Sovereign Suite at Greenhous Meadow on Thursday evening for a fun-filled exhibition featuring Michael van Gerwen and Andy Hamilton.
